Ronaldo leads Juventus against Atletico Madrid

… while Liverpool face the might of Bayern, JustBet offers Liverpool to win at $3.15

The UEFA Champions League ‘Round of 16’ return legs kick into high gear today, March 12 and continues tomorrow, (March 13), with some mouth-watering match-ups in store for fans.

JustBet previews two of the expected thrillers for you, starting with Italian super power, Juventus looking to overturn a first-leg deficit in Turin, while over in Germany the resurging German champions Bayern Munich look to consolidate their position when they take on English powerhouse Liverpool after gaining a draw in England.

Juventus welcome Atletico Madrid to the Allianz Stadium for their vital second leg tie after losing the first leg 0-2 in Spain.

Juventus finished the group stage under a bit of cloud, losing to Manchester United in Turin and Young Boys in Switzerland during the second half of the campaign.

Despite once again dominating in Serie A and adding Cristiano Ronaldo to their ranks, the “Old Lady” still looks to be missing something when it comes to conquering Europe. Juventus almost overturned a 3-0 first-leg deficit when beating Real Madrid 3-1 at the Bernabeu last year, so they are capable of a comeback.

Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, finished second in the group to Dortmund and currently sits second in Spain’s top flight behind Barcelona.

Madrid defeated Juventus 1-0 in the 2014 edition before drawing 0-0 in Italy, meaning in the last three games between the teams Atletico have won twice and drawn once, Juventus have yet to score against the Spaniards.

At home, Juventus are unbeaten in their last nine games since losing 1-2 to Manchester United in November, conceding just four times in that period. While, Atletico Madrid have kept four clean sheets in their last four games and have lost just three of their last 34 away matches in all competitions. The betting tip! Drawn game

In the second game, Liverpool travel to Munich knowing a goal will swing this tie in their favour — but will Bayern finish off the job at the Allianz Arena?

Bayern Munich went to Anfield with a game plan in mind and must have come away very satisfied with their evening’s work.

Bayern have won twice in the Bundesliga since the first leg at Liverpool — with a 5-1 demolition of Monchengladbach being particularly impressive.

Robert Lewandowski scored twice in that game taking his tally up to 27 for the season.

Liverpool, on the other hand, have drawn two and won one game since the 0-0 draw at Anfield and have also been fielding accusations of being “bottlers” in the title run for the Premier League. One of those draws was against the high-flying Manchester United and the other against their eternal rivals Everton in the Merseyside derby, so there is hardly a crisis at the club.

Liverpool couldn’t find a cutting edge on Merseyside while missing some gilt-edge chances. Worryingly though, Liverpool have lost every single match away from Anfield in the Champions League this season which makes their chances of a win in Germany very unlikely.

Bayern have won their last four home games against Premier League oppositions and are yet to lose a game in this year’s European campaign.

The betting tip! Bayern Munich win
