MONTEGO BAY, St James — Former champions Granville Jaguars will have a third-straight win in their sights when they face Holland Saints in the second game of a Western Basketball Association Elite League double header at the Cricket Club courts today.

Granville scored wins over Cornwall Courts Chargers and Lucea Flames to be joint leaders with Cricket Club Knights on four points each, one more than promoted Boys Club Warriors and Saints all from two games each.

In the first game today Warriors, fresh from their 69-63 win over Holland on Tuesday, will take on Sav-Elite Titans, starting at 5:00 pm.

Thursday’s game between defending champions Catherine Hall All-Stars and Sav-Elite Titans was postponed due to heavy rains.

On Tuesday, Tafari Vassell scored a double-double for Boys Club Warriors in their six-point victory, their first in the Elite League, 30 points and 13 rebounds.

Levar Rose scored 18 points for Warriors as well while Nicholas Minott scored 11 points and Rhyheem Barrett held 15 rebounds.

Michael Johnson scored 20 points to lead Holland Saints, Aldane Anderson scored 14 while Damaine Thorpe got 10 coming off the bench and Kenrick Lindo got 17 rebounds.
