“If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” seems to be the rule of thumb for Marbana Beach Club ideators, who thankfully, show no signs of reneging on their promise to provide the Caribbean’s best party experience annually. Eight hours of a premium all-inclusive beach rave later, patrons were wardobe-planning for 2020. The formula: Sheldon Codner on décor duties #premium; CPJ and Heineken handling top-shelf libations #premium; a cabal of local culinary personalities serving up #premium epicurean delights; Brew’d Awakenings providing warm-up and cool-down delectables; and #premium musical elements courtesy of Bloodline Franco, Jazzy T from Renaissance, SHEj Rocksteadyy and OSOCITY, and DJ Lurbz and Aswaad, with Patrick The Hypeman and Marlon Musique catering to techno, hip-hop, dancehall, and soca sensibilities.

As expected, the premium fête called for über fashion moments from patrons. Did we miss something, or was there a neon dress code memo? Confirmation came via neon body painting and pastel henna art. Indeed, it’s safe to say the fluorescent hue enhanced the affair. Your guess is as good as ours as to how Marbana habituées will up the style quotient next year.
