Oxford University Press, BookFusion partner on digital resources for Caribbean classrooms

Oxford University Press and the global e-book platform provider, BookFusion Ltd, have announced their collaboration to deliver quality digital educational resources for the Caribbean.

The collaboration will support Caribbean schools, institutions and ministries of education looking to bring more digital into the classroom, with a comprehensive range of educational resources that can be accessed across all devices anytime, anywhere.

As a leading eBook provider in the Caribbean, BookFusion Ltd works to transform education for thousands of students across the region by delivering a seamless digital learning experience. The platform currently hosts several Oxford e-books, spanning lower secondary resources for the Caribbean, CSEC® and CAPE® titles, and the popular CXC® Study Guide series.

Plans are to increase this offer to cover all available resources by the end of the year, including new publishing such as Investigating Science for Jamaica 2nd Edition, Principles of Accounts for CSEC® 2nd Edition, and Information Technology for CSEC® 3rd Edition.

When speaking of the collaboration, Oliver Thornton, publisher for the Caribbean at Oxford University Press, commented that as the leading secondary publisher in the Caribbean, his firm was absolutely delighted to have signed the agreement with BookFusion, and to be in a position to support a local business.

“Adding to the list of partners in the region that we work with, it will ensure that many more students and teachers will have access to our market-leading resources across a huge range of subjects and series, including the CXC Study Guides,” Thornton said.

Dwayne Campbell, BookFusion CEO, said his company is extremely excited to partner with Oxford University Press with the addition of its premium educational content to the platform.
