TSO2019: Sales good so far, merchants say
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Managers from several Corporate Area stores participating in the Jamaica Observer Takes Style Out are pleased with the public support this year.
Assistant Manager of Maxie Department Store at Springs Plaza in Half Way Tree told OBSERVER ONLINE that sales for her store have been great and better than previous years.
“Normally it would rain and people would only take shelter here so it would be packed inside. This time, we have a smaller crowd, but everything is flowing and sales are good,” she said.
Buying manager of Lee’s Fifth Avenue Store, Sheena Isree, too, said that sales for her store have been “on par”.
“So far, so good. No complaints,” she said.
