Promoters raise the stakes for Strictly 2K
Following the ‘Dancer’s Boom’ summer edition, Strictly 2K- Best of the 2000s will be heading back to Mas Camp, St Andrew, on Friday, October 18, and the theme is ‘Straight Jeans and Fitted’.
DJ and promoter of the Strictly 2K, ZJ Chrome said that some of the hottest trends from the 2000s will be highlighted at the event.
“The
2000s was about iconic music and fashion trends. Outside of Clarks, one of the
biggest fashion trends back at that time was straight jeans, fitted cap and G-Shock
watches,” he said.
Strictly 2K is famed for its high energy and incomparable vibe. This staging promises to raise the stakes with an impressive DJ line-up that includes ZJ Chrome, Illusion Sound, Coppershot, Kurt Riley and Trippple X.
IB
Konteh, marketing and communications director for the event, believes Strictly
2K is the perfect place to start the Heroes weekend.
“This is
the first time we’ll be hosting Strictly 2K during Heroes weekend, and there’s
no better way to start the holidays than with throwback music. I’m asking our
patrons to come out early, enjoy the vibes and drinks specials that are on sale
at the bar,” Konteh said.
