Kingston welder on assault, firearm charges
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The police have charged a welder, who is said to be one of the men who entered a man’s house two years ago, pointed a firearm at him, then punched him in his face and head.
Forty-two-year-old Corie Jackson, who is of Rhoden Crescent in Kingston 10, has been charged with assault at common law, illegal possession of firearm and assault occasioning bodily harm stemming.
Reports are that on February 10, 2019, Jackson along with other men armed with a firearm, entered the house of a man, pointed the gun at him and then used their fists to inflict injures to his face and head. The police said the men then escaped on foot in the area.
The accused was pointed out to the police by the complainant on Tuesday and subsequently arrested. He was charged following a question and answer interview.
