Presenting DANDIE SHANDIE
Whether he’s a lover of classic cuts or prefers modern designs in fun prints, there’s no better time to elevate your father’s style with some locally crafted African-inspired designs.
Premier Gentleman’s DANDIE SHANDIE collection fits the bill. A patterned story inspired by wax prints, Kente cloth, and the documentary film The Congo Dandies, the new designs from Creative Director Andre Stephens are show-stoppers.
Though the fabrics are traditional, Stephens’ designs are anything but. His work takes cues from streetwear, abstract art, and Jamaica itself, making for a collection that is modern but imbued with roots and culture. Stephens says he focused on the use of “bold colours that matched the vibration of summer”.
