WATCH: Motorist escapes injury in Mandeville crash
MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A man narrowly escaped serious injury after the vehicle he was driving went off road and overturned in Mandeville a short while ago.
The man, who asked not to be named, told OBSERVER ONLINE that he lost control of the vehicle on New Green Road about 3:00 pm.
“The road wet and mi come down the road and me just feel it (the car) a drift,” he said.
He explained that in an attempt to avoid oncoming traffic he swerved to the left, which resulted in the vehicle going over a sidewalk before overturning and landing mere metres from a concrete water tank stand.
