Taxi operator fatally shot while waiting on spouse
KINGSTON, Jamaica— Police are investigating the death of a taxi operator who was shot dead Tuesday evening on Molynes Road in St Andrew as he was picking up his girlfriend.
Preliminary reports are that the taxi man was in the Valentine Gardens area waiting on his spouse when he was pounced on by unknown assailants and fatally shot.
His body was discovered, slumped over his steering wheel, by a team of police officers.
