Let’s Bag It Up For Jamaica 60!

Yes, we’re still in Jamaica 60 celebratory mode! And whilst handbags might not be top-of-mind, this new collection by fashion designer Melissa Moses might just change your mind.

Moses told Tuesday Style Fashion (TSF) that the inspiration behind her Sweet Jamaica 60 collection derived from wanting to highlight local talent as well as making a cultural statement. “The last two years were filled with lockdowns and anxiety due to the novel coronavirus, so I decided to design these beautiful bags that will make a bold, impactful and fashionable statement as we return to the usual Independence celebration. We need to highlight the positives that are taking place right now by embracing our culture and investing more in local talent; especially the highly inspired cultural creatives who often go unnoticed.”

TSF concurs, and suggests you check out Melissa Moses’ new patriotic bag collection that pays homage to the nation’s sovereignty.
