Gas prices down $4.50, diesel up $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline and an increase in price of diesel effective Thursday, August 25, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline down by $4.50, 87-octane gasoline will be sold for $206.16 while 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $210.14.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $233.76 per litre after an increase of $4.50, and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $240.75 per litre also up by $4.50.
Kerosene also increased in price by $4.50 and will be sold for $212.30 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $65.90 per litre up by $0.79 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $75.25 per litre after an increase of $1.19.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
