Executive and Director Appointments

Senior manager for sales and client relations at Victoria Mutual Wealth Management Limited (VM Wealth) Tamara Waul Douglas has resigned effective August 12 to pursue personal interests. Waul Douglas joined VM Wealth in October 2019.

Executive vice-president and executive chairman of Gas Products Portfolio at Massy Holdings Limited, Vaughn Martin, has been appointed the interim group chief financial officer (CFO) on October 1. This comes as the current CFO Ian Chinapoo becomes the new chief executive officer of Guardian Holdings Limited on the same date.

Hamant Lalla has been appointed the chief internal auditor for Republic Financial Holdings Limited and general manager for internal audit at Republic Bank Limited on August 29.

Market Sales and Events

A connected party of Mayberry Investments Limited (MIL) purchased 72,727 shares on August 24 and purchased 11,330 shares on August 25. A connected party of MIL purchased 160,156 shares at $9 for a consideration of $1.44 million on August 23.

A connected party of Supreme Ventures Limited (SVL) sold 125,000 shares while a related party purchased 770,081 shares for a consideration of $23.10 million on August 25. A connected party of SVL sold 2,500,000 shares at $29 for a consideration of $72.50 million on August 19.

A director of EduFocal Limited purchased 5,000 shares on August 17.

A director of Kingston Properties Limited purchased 330,000 shares for a consideration of $2.48 million.

A senior officer of Dolla Financial Services Limited sold 500,000 units on August 22.

A director of Future Energy Source Company Limited (Fesco) sold 21,420 shares on August 18 while another director sold 2,302,511 shares for a consideration of $12.66 million between August 24 and 25. A connected party of PanJam Investment Limited purchased 6,461 shares on August 18 and 2,000 shares on August 23.

A connected party of Jamaican Teas Limited (JAMT) sold 45,048 shares on February 14 and sold 700,000 shares on February 18. A director of JAMT sold 135,191 shares on August 8 and 355,000 shares on August 16. A director of QWI Investments Limited purchased 27,647 shares on August 19.

A director of Sagicor Group Jamaica Limited sold 948,999 shares for a consideration of $50.30 million on August 17 while two executives sold 11,201 shares and 54,569 shares on the same day.

GraceKennedy (GK) Limited listed 40,052 shares on the stock exchange on August 18 which became effective August 19. This pushed GK’s issued share capital up to 995,115,846 ordinary shares.

Sygnus Credit Investments Limited will consider an interim dividend at its board meeting on Friday. Lumber Depot Limited and Blue Power Group Limited will consider a dividend and capital distribution payment, respectively, on September 9.

The Jamaica Public Service Company Limited (JPS) has declared dividend on its preference shares: seven per cent (B) — $0.035; five per cent (C) — $0.025; five per cent (D) — $0.025; and six per cent (E) — $0.03. These will be paid on September 30 to shareholders on record as of September 15.

JPS declared a dividend of US$0.239452054794521 or US$588,000.14 to be paid on September 16 to shareholders on record as of September 8.

Radio Jamaica Limited will host its annual general meeting (AGM) on September 28 while CAC 2000 Limited’s AGM will be held on September 26.

Jamaica Broilers Group Limited expects to submit its annual report by September 16 which is past the due date of August 28.

First Citizens Group Financial Holdings Limited has set September 7 as the record date for shareholders to receive formal notice of a special meeting to be held on September 28.
