If it nuh go suh…! September 2
Goodbye, François St Juste
Lupus is one of those diseases which sound relatively innocuous, innocent even. But it is not. Aided by some complications, it took out one of my favourite radio personalities, François St Juste. His name used to come up all the time in my circle of girls. We’re really going to miss his unmistakeable voice in the morning. One of the best ways to honour François is to look more into this lupus disease. It’s a killer!
Farewell, François. Rest well.
Brickbats and bouquets
Kudos to MoBay Deputy Mayor Richard Vernon for seeing the error of his ways and apologising for calling migrants cowards and unpatriotic. I put his foolish comments down to youthful exuberance. My girls find a man who can apologise for his wrongs sexy. We’re still waiting on Member of Parliament Lothan Cousins to get his sexy on and apologise for his mindless tirade against the private sector.
Dr Adam Stewart, LLD
It has a nice sound to it, even though it is not used in the same way an academic doctorate is. Adam Stewart is a great example of a young businessman who believes in his country and region. His father, Gordon “Butch” Stewart, must be beaming in his grave to see his son being honoured, as he was, with an honorary doctorate by The University of the West Indies. Big up! Big up, Dr Stewart.
