ST ANN, Jamaica— Four men, who are said to be employees of a popular patty company, were arrested and charged for praedial larceny after they allegedly stole six cows from farms in Kensington, Alexandria in St Ann.

Charged are 36-year-old Anthony Turner, a driver assistant of Lime Hall District, Rock River in Clarendon; Alvara Black, 53, a butcher from Osbourne Store, Clarendon; Romaine McLean, 27, truck driver of Harmons, Manchester and Donald Gooden, 73, a farm contractor of Comfort Village, in Toll Gate, Clarendon.

Information reaching OBSERVER ONLINE is that around 10 am on Friday, Alexandria Police responded to reports that six cows belonging to three farmers were stolen from farms.

The police stated that on reaching the Kaiser Bauxite road, two trucks, one of which had a Juici Patties logo, were seen containing the cows.

The owners of the six cows reportedly identified the stolen animals in the presence of the four accused.

The four men are expected to appear in court on Monday, September 12.
