Man accused of stabbing another with ratchet knife

A man has been charged in connection to a stabbing incident on Black Street in Kingston on Wednesday, September 21 of last year.

Charged is 54-year-old Julian Clarke of Brae Street in the parish.

Reports from the Elletson Road police are that about 10:20 pm, the complainant was walking along Black Street when Clarke approached him and stabbed him with a ratchet knife before escaping.

The police were summoned and the injured man was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Clarke was subsequently arrested and charged with wounding with intent.
