Valiant, toast of Cayman Islands
Siance by dancehall rookie Valiant is the new number one song on Cayman Islands’ Hot 104.1 FM.
The song, produced by Monstamilli Production, was released October last year. Its official video, which was uploaded to YouTube in October, has so far garnered more than 6.9 million views.
Siance is among a string of hits from Valiant over the last five months. The others include Speed Off, Dunce Cheque, Narcissistic with Stalk Ashley, and Motor Sport with Pablo YG.
Elsewhere on the chart, Bunji Garlin’s Hard Fete is number two, We Caa Done by Popcaan and Drake is three, Every time by Jah Cure featuring Stonebwoy is four, and Voice’s Long Live Soca is five.
On the streaming and sales-driven Billboard Reggae Albums chart, Bob Marley and the Wailers’s Legend clock 161 non-consecutive weeks in the number one spot, while Best of Shaggy: The Boombastic Collection is firm at two.
Sean Paul’s Dutty Classics Collection rises to three, Great is He by Popcaan dips one place to four, and Stick Figure’s Wisdom inches up to five.
Greatest Hits by UB40 moves up to six, while World on Fire and Set in Stone by Stick Figure are seven and eight, respectively.
Gifted by Koffee and Gold by Bob Marley are nine and 10, respectively.
On the Billboard Rhythmic Airplay top 40, Popcaan’s and Drake’s We Caa Done backtracks from 37 to 39.
On the South Florida Reggae chart, Kashief Lindo’s Coldest Days of My Life is still on top, while Original Song by Sanchez moves from nine to five.
King Banton’s Sometimes When We Touch steps from 13 to 10.
There are three new entries, Double For my Troubles by Richie Stephens and Sanches (number 21), Highway to Heaven by Carlene Davis (number 23), and Just a Number by Morgan Heritage (number 24).
I Need Your Love by Beres Hammond is still number one on the Foundation Radio Network (New York) Reggae chart.
Really Together by Lukie D and Alaine moves from 12 to eight and Sometimes When We Touch by King Banton is new at number 30.
On the Rebel Vibez Top Ten Canadian Reggae chart, Giant by Mikey Dangerous is number one. The JUNO-nominated Reggae Party by Kirk Diamond and Finn featuring Kairo McLean is four, while My Turn by Tony Anthony is 10.
