Quarter-final match-ups set for Lynk Knockout football competition
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Organisers of the Lynk Cup Knockout football competition on Wednesday announced the quarter-final match-ups.
The all-island competition began with 24 teams from the Jamaica Premier League (JPL) and Jamaica Football Federation (JFF) tier II.
Now down to the final eight, only JPL teams remain as clubs battle over two legs in quarter-final matches at Anthony Spaulding Sports Complex in St Andrew.
On Wednesday, April 12, Tivoli Gardens FC are set to face Dunbeholden FC at 4:00 pm and Portmore United versus Molynes United at 7:00 pm.
The following day will feature Cavalier FC versus Mount Pleasant FA at 4:00 pm. At 7:00 pm, Harbour View FC will battle Chapelton Maroons FC.
Organisers say the winners will pocket $1.65 million.
