Sone G pays homage to ‘The King’
Whether they read about it or watched a movie depiction, the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ is an emotional or controversial experience.
Gospel singjay Sone G, whose new song is The King, has never questioned what happened to the King of Jews after he was mortally nailed to the cross.
“I believe in the completeness of the crucifixion and resurrection. History is filled with facts supporting this. To deny it, is to simply reject that truth,” said Sone G.
Produced by DJ Sunz, The King was released on March 31. It hears South Florida-based Sone G singing and deejaying praises to the Almighty.
According to the Bible’s New Testament, Christ rose from the dead three days after he was crucified. There are differing versions from religious scholars but Sone G believes the traditional story.
“I see it as the most powerful act in history, the impact on the world cannot be measured,” he said.
The King is Clarendon-born G’s follow-up to God is Always There For You, which was released January 13.
