
Gas prices up $3.06, diesel up $0.25
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see an increase at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, April 13, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline up by $3.06, 90-octane gasoline will be sold for $177.31 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $173.23 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $187.62 per litre after an increase of $0.25 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $198.47 per litre up by $0.25.
Kerosene also increased by $0.25 and will be sold for $198.67 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $66.18 per litre up by $0.29 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $74.04 per litre after an increase of $1.20.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
