MONTEGO BAY, St James — Cornwall AIA won back-to-back games to start the St James Football Association Sandals Resorts International Under-15 competition after beating St James High 3-1 at the UDC field on Friday.

After opening the season with a 3-0 win over Green Pond on Tuesday, Cornwall AIA chalked up another win with goals from Mekhi Foster in the third minute, Lee-Andre Gibbs in the 18th minute, and Kavontea Gooden who got his second goal of the season when he made it 3-0 in the 50th minute.

Javaughn Freeburn scored what turned out to be a consolation goal in the 68th minute for St James High.

Green Pond High moved into second place on three points after rebounding from their loss to beat Athletes In Action 2-0, also at the UDC Field.

Jerome Whynn scored in the 36th minute and Michael Fogah doubled the advantage in the 48th minute.

Our Kids Academy played out back-to-back 1-1 draws when they came from behind against Montego Bay Boys Club to earn a point.

Tyreek Kirlew gave Boys Club the lead in the 18th minute but Raul Vernon scored in the 48th minute for Our Kids Academy.
