It was a double celebration for Keron Salmon, aka Kabaka Pyramid, at The Summit, formerly the Knutsford Court Hotel on Wednesday, April 19. Industry peers, politicos, family and friends convened to acknowledge the musical artiste whose reggae album

There was, too, the opportunity for JaRIA (Jamaica Reggae Industry Association) and Irie FM to present him with the Album of the Year award, and for Minister of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport Olivia “Babsy” Grange to congratulate him on his positive impact on the music industry.

Meanwhile, singer Jemere Morgan, grandson of reggae legend Denroy Morgan and son of Morgan Heritage member Gramps Morgan, heaped praises on the artiste as a personal mentor, ahead of delivering a line from Grateful, a collab beween them both.

Cake cutting complete, the man of the hour then delivered a soul-stirring performance.
