KC 65ers give $1.15m to alma mater
MEMBERS of the Kingston College 65ers group brought good cheer to their alma mater last Monday with the presentation of the first tranche of an overall $1.15-million contribution to the 98-year-old institution for boys.
Representatives of the group, Professor Rainford Wilks and Dr Locksley Henry handed over cheques in United States- and Jamaican-dollar denominations to principal of the school, Dave Myrie, at the twin campus’ main office, 2A North Street in Kingston.
A further US$2,000 is to be given to the school in short order.
The school’s administration will decide how the funds will be used.
