Sean Kingston’s Beautiful Girls hits platinum in Germany
Singer and rapper Sean Kingston earned another career milestone last month when his 2007 hit single Beautiful Girls was certified platinum in Germany.

Sean Kingston was in high spirits when the Jamaica Observer caught up with him more than a week ago in Orlando, Florida, at the staging of the Bellevue Music Festival.
“Wow, it feels good to know that after all these years, the song continues to do well. Give thanks,” he said.
Beautiful Girls was produced by J R Rotem. It features a sample from Ben E King’s 1961 Billboard chart-topping single Stand by Me. It has become Sean Kingston’s signature hit.
The song was a global hit, topping the Billboard Hot 100 as well as the Billboard Rhythmic Top 40 and several charts in Europe including the United Kingdom, Australia, Hungary, Ireland, Scotland, and New Zealand. It also topped the Canada Hot 100.
The single was previously certified 2x platinum in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. It racked up gold certifications in Brazil and Spain. It has also been certified platinum in Australia, Denmark and New Zealand.

“Ffawty is the next artiste who I am working with. He has a new mixtape coming out soon. Is a whole heap a producers we have on the project. We also have Chris Brown, Trippie Redd, Lil Tyler, and BIG30 on the project,” Kingston told the Observer.
