Audley Shaw escapes injury following crash in Clarendon
CLARENDON, Jamaica — Former Cabinet Minister and Member of Parliament for Manchester North Eastern Audley Shaw was involved in a three-vehicle collision on the Four Paths main road in Clarendon on Friday, authoritative sources say.
OBSERVER ONLINE was told that Shaw, 71, escaped injury. He was reportedly driving himself from Manchester to the Corporate Area when the accident happened.
“He is okay. He is still at the scene. The police are here and the examiner as they are doing their checks now,” a credible source told OBSERVER ONLINE Friday evening.
Earlier during the day Shaw attended the funeral of his main constituency organiser and friend Lennox “Peter” Powell in Christiana, Manchester.
“All of that he was worried about too,” the source said.
