You have been living under a rock if you’ve missed the buzz around the release of the Greta Gerwig-directed Barbie movie, or for that matter the viral pink fashion trend known as Barbiecore.
The global fanfare spearheaded by Barbie star Margot Robbie landed in Jamaica last Tuesday, July 25 when UCA Jamaica hosted the Barbie movie premiere at Carib 5. And enthusiasts unabashedly embraced the playful pink aesthetic that has defined Barbie’s wardrobe as they supported the event held in aid of the Jamaica Cancer Society.
