Two changes made for Reggae Boyz squad ahead of Haiti clash
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Heimir Hallgrímsson, head coach of Jamaica’s senior men’s football team, has made two changes for Tuesday’s Concacaf Nations League game against Haiti at the National Stadium in Kingston.
Goalkeeper Andre Bake returns after he was suffering from “flu-like” symptoms last week and takes the captain’s arm band, while striker Shemar Nicholson takes the place of teenager Dujuan Richards.
Nicholson, who was recently loaned out to French top flight team Clermont from Spartak Moscow, was a second half sub against Honduras last Friday after arriving in the island two days before the game.
Jamaica leads the Nations League Group B points table with three points after a 1-0 win over Honduras, while Haiti had drawn 0-0 against Cuba and are one one point.
The starting team is: Andre Blake, Ethan Pinnock, Damion Lowe, Amari’1 Bell, Javain Brown, Kasey Palmer, Joel Latibeaudiere, Demarai Gray, Bobby Reid, Leon Bailey, Shemar Nicholson.
