24-y-o lifeguard charged with murder of brother
ST JAMES, Jamaica — A 24-year-old lifeguard from Catherine Mount in St James has been arrested and charged with the murder of his 30-year-old brother.
Charged is Dailando Bailey. He is implicated in the death of his brother Oshaine Bailey.
According to reports from the Mount Salem police, the brothers were at home on Tuesday, September 12 when an argument developed. It escalated into a physical altercation where it is alleged that Dailando choked his brother until he became unresponsive. Oshaine was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Dailando reported the incident to the police which led to his arrest. He was charged after a question and answer interview.
His court date is being finalised.
