Body believed to be of abducted bartender found in Clarendon
CLARENDON, Jamaica – The partially nude body of a woman believed to have been abducted was found in an open lot at Gravel Ground in Clarendon, on Friday afternoon.
Police said the body is believed to be that of 22-year-old Yasheka Segree, otherwise called ‘Yash’ or ‘Shorty’, a bartender from Site district in Trelawny.
Segree, police said, was allegedly abducted on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at Coffals district in Clarendon
Information reaching Observer Online is that around 3:00 pm, residents reportedly stumbled upon the partially decomposing and summoned the police.
On arrival, lawmen saw the partially nude and partially decomposed body. The body was about 4 feet 2 inches long, of Indian descent and clad in black shorts and yellow underwear which were pulled down her legs.
The body was found lying face down in an open lot with what appears to be gunshot wounds to the legs and scratches to its upper section. The scene was processed, and the body removed.
