Gas prices, diesel down $4.50
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, October 12, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline down by $4.50, 90-octane will be sold for $189.09 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $183.02.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $185.27 per litre after a decrease of $4.50 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $193.66 per litre down by $4.50.
Kerosene decreased by $3.06 and will be sold for $190.52 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $67.40 per litre down by $0.25 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $72.34 per litre after an increase of $1.44.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
