‘Hardball’ returns
Robert ”Hardball” Halledeen returns to competitive riding at Caymanas Park after another successful stint on the international circuit. He is scheduled to ride on tomorrow’s nine-race card.
According to the final programme, Halledeen has two rides: Prosecco for trainer Patrick Lynch in the opening race, and Iannai Links for trainer Ryan Darby in the ninth and final race.
Halledeen has returned from a trip to the United States, where he spent most of his time riding at the Thistledown racetrack in Ohio.
Halledeen is expected to spend around two weeks in Jamaica before returning to the United States to ride at Mahoning Valley.
So far this season, Halledeen has ridden 28 winners, 34 seconds, and 31 thirds from 238 mounts. Halledeen has won 48 races, finished second 55 times, and third 57 times in 393 rides since joining the North American circuit last year.
