Champion Dane Dawkins signs one-year deal with GraceKennedy’s 876 Spring Water
Reigning champion jockey Dane Dawkins expressed his delight after recently signing a one-
year sponsorship deal making him the latest brand ambassador for GraceKennedy’s 876
Spring Water brand.
Dawkins, one of the leading riders at Caymanas Park for the past five years, appreciates GraceKennedy’s decision to include him as a brand ambassador and eagerly anticipates collaborating with the company. “I feel great about this opportunity because it will help elevate my career and support several business ventures I want to pursue,” said Dawkins. “This is an ideal move for my career as it propels me forward,” he continued.
He emphasised that this deal provides added motivation not only for him but also for other jockeys at Caymanas Park. This will definitely motivate me further, especially when taking pictures to promote the company after races. That drive will encourage me to secure better rides and win more races,” he explained.
“I know other jockeys will now think, ‘I want a sponsor like Dane with 876 Spring Water or another company’, and that will push them to work harder in the saddle,” added Dawkins. Currently ranked second in the jockeys’ standings, with 82 wins this year, Dawkins is 13 wins behind leading rider Reyan Lewis, who has 95 victories. Despite the gap, Dawkins remains resolute in his pursuit to retain his title.
“I am determined to keep my champion status because I never give up. I’ll fight until the end unless it becomes unattainable. As long as there is a chance, I won’t concede,” he affirmed.
The one-year partnership between Dawkins and 876 Spring Water follows the recent signing of Reyan Lewis, Javaniel Patterson, and Tevin Foster as ambassadors for the Tru-Shake brand.
