Business Social
The Business Social this week features the jointly held ‘Driven’ event put on by Sagicor Life Jamaica Limited and Advantage General Insurance Company Limited as part of an evening in celebration of men’s health awareness. The event, which was held at the BMW ATL Autobahn showroom, fostered humour and knowledge among men about different aspects of their health and well-being. Apart from partaking in a variety of spirits and well-needed massages, different guest speakers spoke about the value of planning ahead and their own journey with different moments in their lives. Here are the highlights.
Nicola Bryan from Uber Wax (left) put her therapeutic touch to work for contractor Rennes Willis who enjoys a massage on site.
Businessman Rohan Silvera speaks about his journey with cancer to the audience.
Founder and managing director of Clubhouse Brewery, Cedric Blair (left) and radiation oncologist Dr Kern Pemberton enjoyed the core message on men’s mental health, cleverly bundled in humour.
Distribution channel manager at Sagicor Life Jamaica, Everard Smith, delivers the closing remarks.
Actor, comedian, radio and TV personality Christopher “Johnny” Daley had the audience holding their sides with his talks about men’s mental health, playfully presented through humorous anecdotes.
