Gas prices, diesel down $3.06

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, January 4, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.

With both grades of gasoline down by $3.06 90-octane will be sold for $171.50 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $165.39.

Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $167.93 per litre after a decrease of $3.06 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $175.31 per litre down by $4.37.

Kerosene decreased by $4.50 and will be sold for $175.33 per litre.

Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $73.23 per litre up by $0.79 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $82.55 per litre after an increase of $0.85.

Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
