Lil Kish grateful for Sting début

Teen sensation Lil Kish has added a grand accolade to her career achievements with her recent performance at the Sting stage show on Boxing Day.

As one of the earlier performers, the artiste set the tone for the night with a high-energy set that kept patrons entertained all throughout.

“Performing at Sting was a good experience and one of the biggest opportunities for me so far. It was definitely everything I hoped it would be; it was like a dream come true,” the 15-year-old told the Jamaica Observer.

“I just want to say a big thank you to my supporters and my team for making the Sting 2023 a success for me,” she said.

Lil Kish further added that the performance was the cherry on top for what was a successful year.

“[The year] 2023 was good… because I accomplished a lot within the 12 months. I’m looking forward to what’s next in my career,” she added.

Lil Kish, whose given name is Tajana Gardner, launched her career in September 2020.

Last year, she released two singles — God A Mi Obeah Man and Dance To The Beat. Prior to these tracks she released School Walk Freestyle, Grateful, Rasta Girl, and Living The Life.

In 2022 she was recognised by the Southern Regional Health Authority (SRHA) for invaluable contribution during the coronavirus pandemic.
