Roots artiste I-Stitch is currently in Canada promoting songs from Fix Tape Mix, his mixtape which was released five years ago. He has done shows and publicity appearances, mainly in Ontario.

Organised by Cut & Clear Music Productions Inc, the shows took place at clubs in Scarborough, Hamilton and the Niagara region. I-Stitch also performed at the Welland Afro Caribbean Festival in Welland, Ontario and did slots on dancehall-reggae stations like Soul Kitchen Radio.

“The promotion in Canada has been very fruitful and has created exciting opportunities for my music. It has included radio interviews, live online performances and several live shows across Ontario, allowing me to connect with new audiences and expand my fan base,” I-Stitch told Observer Online.

Fix Tape Mix was released in December 2021. It includes songs such as Teach The Youths, Hardcore, Ambition and Welcome to Jamaica.

I-Stitch is also pitching the recently released singles, Pray and Pilgrimage Africa.

It is his second promotional trip to Canada. The first took place seven years ago when he performed in the Greater Toronto Area and Montreal.

I-Stitch is the son of Everton “Caveman” Moore, a giant of the East Kingston sound system circuit. His father has produced several of his songs including Hardcore.

“This Canadian tour has been extremely beneficial to my musical development and overall career focus. I have gained a wider fan base, established new connections within the Canadian music community and received encouraging feedback from audiences who are now looking forward to my upcoming shows and new releases,” said I-Stitch.
