Gas prices down $3.06, diesel down $0.02
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Motorists should see a decrease at the pumps in the price of gasoline effective Thursday, February 8, according to the latest ex-refinery costs from Petrojam.
With both grades of gasoline down by $3.06, 90-octane will be sold for $171.25 per litre, while 87-octane will be sold for $165.14 per litre.
Automotive diesel fuel will be sold for $176.25 per litre after a decrease of $0.02 and ultra-low sulphur diesel will be sold for $181.91 per litre down by $0.02.
Kerosene decreased by $1.75 and will be sold for $182.81 per litre.
Propane liquid petroleum will be sold for $78.41 per litre up by $3.06 and butane liquid petroleum will be sold for $85.68 per litre after an increase of $2.36.
Marketing companies and retailers will add their respective mark-up to these prices.
