LUST to headline Valentine’s Day show in Cayman

Harmony quartet LUST are headliners for the Lovers Sensation show on February 14 in Cayman. The event is scheduled for Lions Center in George Town.

The popular group, which comprises Lukie D, Thriller U, Singing Melody and Tony Curtis, formed in 1997. Their hit songs include Sweetness of Your Love and Just As I Am.

Ramone Watson, winner of the 2023 Digicel Rising Star contest, and emerging Caymanian star Andy Blake, are supporting acts for the Valentine’s Day gig.

Andrea Wright, who is part of the promotional team, said patrons are in for an evening of quality performances.

“Great entertainment and a musical rhapsody. The fans will be taken from low notes to high notes; baritones to descant. Thriller U will thrill you; Lukie D will warm your hearts; Tony Curtis will be so courteous to the ladies while Singing Melody will be the most melodious,” she teased.

Wright is no stranger to Cayman. The actress/writer has visited the islands several times as Delcita, one of the most popular characters in Jamaican theatre for the past 30 years.

For Lovers Sensation, she is wearing a different hat and costume to suit the occasion.

“Cayman is my place! This time my fans will be seeing a dolled up, pretty teeth and sweet face Andrea Wright as their event host,” she said.
