Making good on a promise
KIWANIS Club of Worthington, Kingston, in partnership with Royale Computers and Accessories, last Friday presented educational supplies to students at Promise Learning Centre, in celebration of Aktion Club Week.
Two students, along with the faculty advisor, were each presented with a tablet and two other students with computer knapsacks.
Aktion Club is the only service leadership programme of Kiwanis International that provides the medium for children and adults with disabilities to serve and add value to their communities. Each year, the first week of March is celebrated as Aktion Club Week to highlight the impact clubs make in their communities.
