#Champs2024: Vere Tech’s Frater cops first gold at Champs in Class 2 1500m

KINGSTON, Jamaica – Vere Technical’s Ashara Frater won her first gold medal at the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships, after storming to 4:42.76 in the final of the Class 2 girls’ 1500m.

Holmwood Technical’s Jovi Rose had to settle for second in a time of 4:43.59, while Bellefield’s Rhodonna Prince claimed the bronze medal (4:49.19).
