Devon House introduces new ‘Bun n Cheese’ ice cream for Easter

KINGSTON, Jamaica — As the Easter season approaches its peak with Good Friday and Easter Monday on the horizon, bun and cheese enthusiasts have a delectable reason to rejoice.Devon House, renowned for its exceptional ice cream creations, has introduced an exciting twist to the Easter tradition with its “Bun & Cheese Ice Cream” offering.

In an Instagram post on Sunday, the world-renowned ice cream makers revealed that for the Easter season and while stocks last, ice cream lovers will be able to tantalise their taste buds with their new flavour.

With real chunks of spiced bun and cuts of cheese, the novel ice cream flavour has social media buzzing. Some users are excited to try the new flavour, while others are sceptical.

“Definitely taste like bun and cheese. Even have small pieces of bun and cheese,” one user, who admitted to trying the new flavour commented on Instagram.

“Everyone who is slandering the bun & cheese ice cream flavour should at least try it first! I liked it,” another user on X, formerly known as Twitter posted.

Devon House in its post introducing the new flavour, encouraged consumers to give the bun and cheese ice cream a try.

“Experience a twist of tradition with our new “Bun n Cheese” ice cream just in time for Easter! Every yummy bite is packed with flavour that is uniquely Jamaican,” their caption read. “Indulge in this cheesy delight while stocks last!”

But some consumers are just not convinced.

“Bun and cheese nuffi put inna ice cream,” a Twitter user said.

“I was gonna try the bun and cheese ice cream but ain’t no way they have literal cheese in it,” another user commented.
