Beenie Man to headline Fun in the Park event
ST JAMES, Jamaica – Dancehall icon Beenie Man is the headliner for acts down to perform at the Fun in the Park event in Montego Bay, St James on Easter Monday.
Knocturnal Entertainment Concepts, the host of the upcoming family-oriented show, stated that having the Grammy winning artiste as headliner reflects the growth the event has experienced since its inception six years ago.
“The team is pumped and excited! We have gone bigger this year as we have Beenie Man, a certified showstopper headlining this our sixth staging. This is also an indication of the growth and the extremely positive response that the event has been generating since we started. We felt that Montego Bay needed an experience for the entire family. This led us to creating an ultimate family event for the period and a space where families can connect with each other and share in the Easter season,” said Knocturnal Entertainment Concepts director Bettian Thompson-Lawrence.
The event also features popular Gospel artiste Kevin Downswell who will lead a segment of praise and worship. While fast-rising Dancehall artistes Roze Don and Kaka and the Highflames Family are also expected to perform during showtime.
