The annual extravaganza Tailgate festivities has solidified its status as a staple event of Jamaica Carnival Week at National Stadium Car Park.

This year’s theme, inspired by the free-spirited hippie movement, ignited a wave of creativity among attendees.

From bell bottoms to flower power ensembles, revellers embraced the vibe with unparalleled enthusiasm and flair, surpassing the turnout of last year’s gathering as the parking lot overflowed with partygoers from around the globe.

The atmosphere throbbed with excitement as the venue teemed with spirited attendees, swaying to the infectious beats expertly spun by the legendary vibesmaster Wes.

The festivities hit high notes with the arrival of internationally acclaimed DJs such as Dr Esan, Trinidadian favourite Travis World, and locally revered talents like DJ Tyler, Fatallic, Brush 1, and Franco.

And when Grammy Award-winning sensation Sean Paul made a surprise appearance on behalf of sponsors Red Bull at their booth, the response was pure excitement, reaffirming the profound influence of dancehall music on Jamaica Carnival revelry.

Drawing inspiration from Trinidadian tailgate parties, attendees poured in, parked their cars, and converged at the epicentre of the celebration.

This year a specially decked-out truck adorned with vibrant red lights symbolising the signature hue of major sponsor Campari added to the spectacle.

A designated fun zone featuring a mechanical bull, rock climbing, and photo zones further enhanced the festivities, providing revellers with exhilarating experiences throughout the night.

Influential personalities such as TikTok sensation Danielle Rookwood, famous YouTuber Shelby Bradshaw, and social media influencer Mikayla Saravia, renowned as Kkvsh, infused the gathering with their magnetic presence, amplifying the energy and excitement pulsating through the crowd.

As the night unfolded, one reveller enthusiastically shared: “The theme this year was an absolute blast, and the music was simply incredible.”
