Mac-11 gun, police vest found at abandoned building on Friendship Lane

ST ANDREW, Jamaica — A Mac-11 submachine gun was found during a special operation in the Friendship Lane community in St Andrew on Sunday.

According to the Half Way Tree Police, at about 2:00 pm, a search was conducted at an abandoned premises when the firearm was found in a bag along with a police ballistic vest and a portable radio.

No one was arrested in connection with the find.

Investigations are ongoing
