Zagga gains Billboard attention with Believe and Pray

Having charted in several countries a few months ago, Zagga continues to promote excerpts from his
Energy Never Lie album.

The album, produced by Amini Music, made its way to charts in countries like Luxembourg, Sweden, Namibia, China, Denmark all the while debuting at #3 in the US and topping Jamaica’s Reggae charts.

Today, the singer is promoting his track, Believe and Pray, which recently blew up on creator platforms. The single also went on to being actively curated by playlisters on Apple Music while being featured as one of Billboard’s Top Ten Fresh Picks and subsequently their active reggae/dancehall playlists alongside heavy hitters like Teejay, Mavado and Mystic Marley.

Believe and Pray sits as the tenth track on the 12-track album that also boasts features from Jahshii (Pressure), Moyann (Girl Next Door) and Iwaata (Bad Sneakers), with tracks like Thankful and the title track Energy Never Lie also making a notable impact.

Zagga shared steps he took that allowed each single its own traction.

“Sometimes a revamp is good and with that comes changing the flow, the style, the attire, the strategies and anything necessary to obtain a positive result. I recently acquired new representation, Kim’s Media House, and the marketing plan we have put in place allows each track it’s own promotional period in an effort to attain the furthest reach possible.”

He contined: “Believe and Pray has created its own channel of positivity and I’m thankful for the crowd response — it’s been positive and my supporters can continue looking out for more in-depth promotion for the singles on the album. I want my fans to be engulfed in my work before I give them new music.”

With Believe and Pray steadily gaining momentum, Zagga opted to drop the official music video which currently holds thousands of Vevo streams making it one of his most streamed singles to date behind his Taurus Riley collaboration, Secure.
