It was inevitable for Deigo Dan to pursue a career in music. Afterall, he grew up around music, he then cut his grit as a dancer and then he made the transition into events promotion.

“My uncle Aubyn was a selector with the Travellers Disco and my neighbour Quincy played with Katarak. When I was younger, I used to be around artistes and I even sat in on some recording sessions,” Deigo Dan explained in a recent interview with Observer Online.

Today, he is the owner of a state-of-the-art studio and the mastermind behind the label Dan Chiice Entertainment.

Dan Chiice Entertainment is gearing up to release a project called the Reputation rhythm featuring songs such as She Goes by Delago, This Girl by Ibo Fyah, Back to the Sender’s and Gee Game by Shaney Blaxx, Mi Gone by Junior X, Incognito by Ginjah and There’s No Vacancy by Turbulence.

“I am a multi-faceted person. I am involved in entertainment; I do promotions and I have also hosted an event in Portmore for the past five years called Ultimate Cookout. I used to be a dancer and I even made appearances in music videos for well-known artistes. However, music production is a huge passion and it’s something that I enjoy doing,” said Deigo Dan.

He continued, “I enjoy creating new sounds, the thrill and the fun of it is exciting. When you create something from the start and then you hear the finished product, it’s just amazing.”

Other artistes that have recorded songs for the Dan Chiice Entertainment label include Anthony Cruz, Perfect Giddimani, Luciano, Lutan Fyah, Queen Ifrica, Sizzla, Anthony B and Gyptian.
