Premier League 2023-24 title to be decided on final day Both Arsenal, Manchester City have to win to lift trophy

The Premier League title is just 90 minutes away for either Manchester City or Arsenal this Sunday. Arsenal will host Everton, while defending champions Manchester City will host West Ham in two deciding matches that will mark the end of season 2023-2024.

Event # 1 – EPL – Arsenal vs Everton – 10:00 AM

Arsenal’s wait for their first Premier League title in over 20 years will be decided on the final day of the season as they host Everton in a match they are expected to win and hope West Ham create the upset against Manchester City for them to lift the title.

The Gunners, Arsenal, have been on fire all season scoring a league-high 89 goals from their 37 matches played. However, they have been even better at the other end of the pitch, conceding a league-low 28 goals and keeping 18 clean sheets during their impressive season so far.

The Gunners enter this match having won their last five matches in a row. When both sides met earlier in the season at Everton, Arsenal won 1-0.

Everton, on the other hand, enter this crucial match in excellent form having won four and drawn one of their last five matches. Everton’s attack has been weak and shouldn’t pose much threat to a strong Arsenal defence, as they have only managed 39 goals from their 37 matches so far.

Everton have been much improved defensively, conceding 49 goals while keeping 13 clean sheets — a record bettered only by Arsenal. Arsenal are expected to win the match, but Everton might prove to be party spoilers as in their last five head-to-head meetings, Arsenal have won three times and Everton twice. Interestingly, this fixture usually sees only one side on the scoresheet, with the last three matches seeing only one team scoring. Therefore, whichever team score first should take all three points.

Justbet customers who make a bet for $1,500 or more from March 1 to April 28, 2024, will be entered into a draw to win a trip to the 2024 UEFA Champions League finals.

KEY STATS

• Arsenal – have scored at least three goals in their last three league games.

• Everton – have won just one of their last 10 away matches at Arsenal.

• Both sides – have won their last two league matches against Everton without conceding.

The betting Tip. Arsenal win.

Event # 2 EPL – Man City vs West Ham – 10:00 AM

Defending Premier League champions Manchester City’s bid for a historic fourth-straight league title could become a reality this Sunday, with a home win over West Ham.

Man City are still in the hunt for a domestic double with a showdown against City rivals Manchester United in the FA Cup final to come.

History beckons for City at the Etihad on Sunday as no team has never achieved the feat of winning four-straight league title in the Premier League era.

City took a massive step to winning the title with a 2-0 win over Tottenham on the road in midweek, which means they have now won each of their last five matches, and during this run they have now scored the most goals in the division (93).

The permutations are simple for City to win the crown, beat West Ham and, regardless of Arsenal’s result, they will be champions. If City lose this match, and Arsenal wins against Everton, the Gunners will be crowned champions. If City draw their match, and Arsenal win their match, it will go down to goal difference — City 60 and Arsenal 61 ahead of the games.

West Ham will play for the final time under David Moyes as their manager when they take on City and will have ambitions of crashing the Champions’ party in stunning fashion. They enter this final match of the season with a win in their previous match, having come from behind to beat Luton last weekend.

It could be a successful end to the season for West Ham, as an upset win could lift them up to eighth in the table, which would see them finishing in the top half of the table for the second-straight season.

Achieving a win against a fired-up and red-hot City will take some doing, as City have been dominant in this fixture in recent times, winning each of their last three matchups and are unbeaten in their last 16 encounters against West Ham.

Justbet customers who make a bet for $1,500 or more from March 1 to April 28, 2024, will be entered into a draw to win a trip to the 2024 UEFA Champions League finals.

KEY STATS

• Man City –are unbeaten in their last 18 home matches so far this season.

•West Ham – have scored in two of their last three matches away to Man City. However, they have lost all of their last three league games away from home by an aggregate of 12-2.

•Both sides – Manchester City have won their last eight matches against West Ham in all competitions.

The betting Tip. Man City win.
