Prisoners injured in alleged confrontation at Freeport lock-up
ST JAMES, Jamaica — Reports have emerged that two men, who were in custody, suffered injuries in an alleged confrontation at the Freeport lock-up in Montego Bay on Saturday evening.
According to information gleaned from an officer familiar with the situation, the men had an altercation where one of them was stabbed.
Subsequent to that it is alleged that a gun came into play and shots were fired where both men were further injured.
Both men were taken to hospital.
Their conditions are currently unknown.
