Dream Wknd prepares for exciting 15th anniversary

The Dream Entertainment team is actively preparing for the biggest staging of the event to date.

Taking place from August 2-6, in Negril, Dream Wknd promises to be an unforgettable experience for attendees, featuring exciting excursions for patrons seeking adventure beyond the festivities and shuttle services to safely transport patrons to and from the respective venues.

Dream Wknd has grown to be a product that caters not just to local patrons, now garnering loyal supporters from the Caribbean, US, Canada, UK and Europe.

To enhance the attendee experience, Dream Wknd partnered with select hoteliers to offer exclusive discounts on accommodations. By doing this, Dream Entertainment aims to ensure that Dreamers can enjoy a relaxing stay while immersing themselves in the electric atmosphere of the weekend that never sleeps.

To further enhance the safety of patrons, shuttles will be traversing Norman Manley Boulevard, providing convenient transportation to and from the venues. The shuttles are scheduled to operate at specific times, allowing attendees to travel easily between their accommodations and the event locations. Organisers aim to ensure a hassle-free experience from arrival to departure in the city of dreams.

Ron Burke, Dream Wknd Festival Director, stated that: “With less than a week to go, we are amped up and ready for the greatest festival of the summer. Dream Wknd has come a very far way, and it is only right that this staging supersedes all others. We’ve put in all the measures to ensure a safe and secure five days. From the security forces to the hoteliers, transportation services, and even our recycling partners are all prepared to provide exceptional services this year.”

In a grand send-off celebration, the Dream Team came out Friday night for the last leg of its launch series. With its 15th anniversary only days away, the team, in tandem with Campari, hosted its launch at Ribbiz Ultra Lounge, resulting in a venue filled to capacity. Despite the lack of moving space, patrons could be seen dancing their night away as the disc jocks skilfully kept the vibe flowing.

Similarly, the exterior of the venue was buzzing with excitement as Campari’s activation drew much attention. Adorned with sand, beach balls and beach lounge chairs, patrons queued up to participate in the Campari’s Wheel of Fortune activity, which gave them the chance to win a portable speaker, domino sets, Dream Wknd tickets, among other prizes.

“With a focus on innovation and guest satisfaction, Dream Wknd continues to set the standard for excellence in event organisation and community engagement. This year’s event [will be] truly extraordinary,” concluded Burke.
