It has been a long, hot summer, and what better way to cool down than with next Saturday’s staging of the Footloose retro party series.

Dubbed the Bright Colours Edition, Footloose will transport patrons on a nostalgic ride back to the past to relive the hits of yesteryear.

Scheduled for Mas Camp, Stadium North, on Saturday August 31, Footloose is sponsored by J Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum.

Tyrone Dixon, organiser of Footloose, told the Jamaica Observer’s Splash on Wednesday: “It’s coming to the end of summer, and we want our patrons to come out in bright fun colours to party all night. We are always introducing new themes to our events, it’s what keeps our brand spontaneous and full of vibes.”

This is the third staging of Footloose since the start of the year.

Footloose was first held in 2006, and 18 years later the event continues to attract a wide cross section of patrons.

Asked what has kept the event going all these years, Dixon said strongly, “Our patrons! We continue to listen to our patrons, and we are always looking for ways to improve our product to make our event one of the best. Patrons know they can always expect a good vibe, good music, and non-stop dancing all night.”

“Footloose is going to be big! As always, we will deliver a great party with great vibes, great music and non stop dancing,” Dixon charged.
